Big Bang and LHC

You say the world is created from Big Bang. So many things came together at that precise second and the wonder called universe was born.

Now compare this with the CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC). CERN is trying to accelerate protons and collide them to study big bang. But the project was delayed multiple times because of minor problems. Problems which look very very small in common man eyes. Initially on September 19, 2008 because of a faulty electrical connection. In July 2009 because of vacuum leak. Again in November 2009 because a bread stick dropped by a bird which led to a temperature spike in the LHC's machinery.

Now tell me, if such small things can stop such a large project, how can the universe be created by chance?
